Hi,
We want to achieve pack sized details without extending material codes.
For example, If the existing code is F00056 with Product description as Chlorine, then without extending material codes we want to achieve details of Chlorine which get packed in 100L, 200L 25L etc along with drum consumption.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Sun riser,
Hope you are using batch management......Then proceed as follows....
Create characteristics called Z_PACK with allowed values 100L, 250L, 25L etc...with T-code CT04 and make this as required characteristic
Create a batch class like Z_PACK_CLASS with class type 023 through T-code CL01 and assign above characteristic Z_PACK in that.
Now assign this class to material in your case F00056 in classification view in material master in MM02..
When you do GR for this material system will ask you to select the value as characteristic is mandatory..
Check and revert...
Thanks
Kumar

Hi,
Your requirement is not clear in this case.. can you please elaborate..is the component is issued to the process order in different unit of measure other than base unit of measure ???.. If that is the case use the functionality of the alternate unit of measure.......
Check and revert
Thanks
Kumar
Hi Kumar,
This is fine but can you complete the following issue as well as.
Product Code = F00029 as Chlorine to be packed in 200L or 25L Drums.
200L or 25L drums we can achieve through classification that Mr.Kumar have given to very good screen shot.
But the component of Finished Goods say For example A & B, How can we issue this against the process order in mb31.
And second question is that how to check the report that F00029( FG code) has been packed in 200L or 25L, is there any T-code to view all Finished goods at once.
And finally can we generated inspection lots to 200L or 25L drums which was classfied, if yes then how.
Regards
