Can anybody tell me if we can reconfigure unit of measure again in the master data if we have done that once.
For example : I am using tons as my unit of measure while creating master data but later I realized that I want to use kgs as my unit of measure can I reconfigure this if yes how? If no why?
Thanks in advance!
In MM there are two master data. One is material master and second is Vendor master.
Material master is stored at client level, plant or at storage location level
Vendor master is stored at general, Company code and Pur org level.
Other are callsed master recrds.

Hi friend...
No matter in which module you are into... Master data can be defined as a repository through which the data is pulled into various documents. Examples could be Material masterdata, Customer master data, Vendor master data....
Data will be pulled from this masters to the documetns whenever necessary...
Thanks,
