Item Master Data

Hi all

I was adding finished goods in item master successfully....i selected Sales Credit Account along with other accounts from the form settings...as soon as i did that the system is not allowing me to add records further...its throwing an error which reads "sales credit account not defined for the item"..

i deselected all the accounts but the problem is still persisting

now my problem is that previosly also the same account was not defined but the system allowed me to add data...

can anybody suggest some help please

Hi Anand,

This depends upon the Sale Item option is checked or unchecked. If its checked then system will ask you to define the Sales Credit account else not.

i have a demo company where Sales Item is selected and i am able to add data and the systenm is not asking for sales credit account

perhaps you should check your g/l account definitions. u find it unter system initialization -> setup -> financial -> account determination / and in the stock definition.
