Interpretation Algorithm 901 issue in EBS

Hi All,

We have implemented SAP Note: 2032814 and manual corrections and created a function module Z_FIEB_901_ALGORITHM as per note.

However, when we upload the statement. System is not using Kidno (Payment ref) for clearing. Instead it is using WRBTR (Amount).

Can someone please advise what is the issue here and what we can do it rectify this.

1. Statement reads WRBTR field for clearing

2. Function Module created

3. Algorithm 901 assigned to external transaction type NTRF

4. BSEG Kidno field

5. BSIS Kidno field

6. SAP note implemented

Please see the screenshot and advise if any enhancement is required for this.

Hello AJ

Check Transaction type assigned to bank account in OT83 (last option) and verify if algorithm 901 assigned to external transaction type NTRF under same transaction type assiged to bank account.

Yes, everything is in place correctly. However, we are still unable to get the open item picked based on KIDNO field.

Check with help of ABAPer if custom function module in interpretation algorithm is getting triggered or not.

Hi Aniket,

Yes, we have checked with ABAPer also and function module is getting triggered  but still it is not clearing based on payment reference.

We are planning to raise an OSS on this.

Will update if we get any progress.
