implementing modules

do we need to implement all the modules compulsorily in a serial way as first mm,pp,sd,fi-co & then hr?

Hi Ramu,

It is not needed to implement all scenario together.

People try to go live with FI modules first and then look for other scenario.

It depends on all existing software infrastruture in place in the company.

If there is any system in place in the company for financial transactions and you want to keep that scenario up.

and try to go live with Procure to pay or order to cash scenario,they can do so.

Generally People go live with SAP FI module as first release and then try to look for other scenario.

SAP implementation is costly affair and company try to go part by part with module.All SAP modules are well seperated with each other in same box so people can implement scenario by scenario.

Right now I am working in a project where they have already implemented SAP FI and now they are looking to implement SAP MM module and then in next release they will go live with SAP SD.
