Hi All,
What is the exact Functional differences between MBA1, MB11 and MIGO
Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
MIGO is a central transaction for doing the inventory postings. Here all most all the transactions of IM can be done.
As of 4.6c and lessser versions the t codes like MB1A etc are used for individual transactions. From 4.7 onwards these transactions are replaced with MIGO.

Dear Knowplus,
In my understanding MB11 and MIGO can be used for a transfer posting or goods issue or goods reciept against any order or
for reversal of good's movements.Means it can be used for 101,102,261,262,311,312 etc.
But in MB1A,goods issue to an order or to a reservation -movement types like 201,202,261,262 etc can be performed.

Hi,
MIGO gives you a single place of entry for all types of Goods Movements... GI/GR/Postings/Returns etc, whereas for MB1A / MB1B / MB11 etc, are meant specifically for the respective inward / outward movements.

Hi
The number of movement types allowed in these transactions are different.
(MB1A - 144 ; MB11 - 401 ; MIGO - 290)
In MIGO screen, there are additional fields like Text, No. containers.....
Other than that no functional differences in these transactions.
Regards
Bala
