Hi all,
we have the scenario SAP ECC (source)-SLT-Central Finance. our GOAL is to load only balances at the beginning of 2022 and FI/CO Documents from 01.01.2022 onwards.
to achieve this we have followings setup in VCFIN_SOURCE_SET:
Start - Balances: 2022
Start - Documents: 2022
period - Documents: 1
then we loaded the table CFIN_ACCHD in SLT, put it on Initial load mode.
in Central Finance we loaded the data, run mapping & posting simuation.
I can see in both simulations that open items from 2008 or 2009 are loaded.
Is this standard? shouldnt the setup in VCFIN_SOURCE_SET only load open items posted from 01.01.2022 onwards?
addtionally I tried adding filters in SLT-LTRS, under Performance Options for CFIN_ACCHD:
CPUDT > 01.01.2022
PSODT > 01.01.2022
INWARDDT_HD > 01.01.2022.
none of these filters worked or had any affect on the load data.
can someone please explain how we can achieve our goal?
Regards,
Rashed
Hi Rashed,
Balances as of the year 2022 will definitely include historical open items from previous fiscal years as per the standard design and full documents will be loaded for the current fiscal year.
SLT for CFIN_ACCHD holds only records which are captured only after you have started your initial load extraction, i.e if you started extraction on 2nd August at 9 AM any document posted in source post 9 AM in the source system will be captured in this table.
So I guess you don't need LTRS filters in CFIN_ACCHD for replicating 2022 data.

Hi Anirban,
thank you for the reply. I can understand that generally open items should not exists for such long period. they should either be written off or cleared.
however in our case, there are indeed thousands of open items for periods 2007-2022.
Does that mean there is no way to filter out or block historical open items for the intial load?
also, what I understood from your comment is that the filter in LTRS only applies on the data replication (which is after the initial load is done)

Rashed
