FCH8 error

Dear Experts,

My client is trying to use fch8 to cancel check but he is getting the error ''enter either house bank or bank key data'' .The sap system is asking to enter both bank key data as well.

Will really Appreciate the right solutions.

Check for the Bank Key if it exists in Production in T Code FI02.

as per your error the sap system is asking to enter one of the data either house bank or bank key data .you should enter only the fields with the required entries(mandatory fields only)

Hi Friend

Please compare the configuration between development and production , i think some data is missing related to the account key or house bank that is the reason it is showing this message, may be account key description and account address related informations are missing in production.

Please input below information, It is recommended to select cheque number from drop down list. sometime user do input prefix zeros and only enter cheque number.

Hi Naresh,

In FCH8 screen ,you can enter paying company code ,check number and void reason code > System automatically pick House bank details from PAYR table and shown there and you have to enter reversal reason and posting date.

You may get same error ,if that check number not assigned to payment document ,still you are trying to cancel the same. Check the same in PAYR table whether check details data existed or not.
