Error CN264 - Enter Network Type when creating network

System returns error message CN264 - "Enter Network Type" when attempting to create a new network regardless of whether I use CN21 (Create Network) or directly in CJ20N (Project builder). This error never occurred in the past. What could be going wrong? Note: Error occurs even though a Network Type has been entered.

That's right Rohit. We implemented that note & it resolved things. I forgot to update this thread when we did. Thanks for sharing.

Hello, Is there any support ticket for this? We installed new SAP GUI 8.0 to Patch Level 2 (with Support packs) and started getting this error. In previous version (7.7 PL8), it is working.

Please send a screenshot when the error occurs. Check configuration in the production system as well.

Thanks for your contribution Ken. The error dialogue box does not say much, however I have added an attachment of it to my post, kindly take a look.

In the system that is giving the error check the Network Profile and Network type configuration. If it's all good then submit a ticket to SAP Support.
