We are now having to set up ECCN codes for our Materials, and I need to know, is there a way to make this field a required field?
Request clarification before answering.
please chek the sales general plant data view for the material and click on the legal control tab which will be in that view .

I was looking at OMSR, but I can't really tell how to make the field MAEX-ALNUM a required field. I had added it to it, but it is not doing what I wanted. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Diane

Sorry, I wasn't clear . . . I know where to put the ECCN code, what I need to know is there a way in configuration to make this field required. So all users who create that view have to enter a code?
Thanks,
Diane
