One of our clients in India is running SAP Business One 9.2 PL10 HF2
For the upcoming financial year, they want to have a common document sharing across all the showrooms in a particular state. Earlier they had a showroom-wise document numbering series but now they want all the showrooms in one state share a common numbering series.
Accordingly, we created a new database,enabled branches, created branches and created different numbering series for each state. However,, we didn't assign each series to any branch and left it blank. As per one of the SAP documents,we understood that assigning a branch to a series is a rare case and if not assigned,that numbering series is accessible to all branches. "Set as Default" option is also missing for most of the document numbering series.
However, when we open any document, we are getting an error that to generate documents,we need to define numbering series in administration module.
How to get around this issue?Is there any other screen, we are missing out to get the functionality working.
