I was wondering what the difference between MRP element and MRP element data is?
or what their connection is?
Request clarification before answering.
Hello Katherine
MRP elements can be each object that is relevant to MRP, such as sales orders, production orders, reservations, purchase orders, etc...
MRP element data is a field in transaction MD04 and the information may vary, depending on the element being displayed. Check the F1 Help information below:
MRP element data which has different meanings depending on the MRP element.
In the first column you always find the:
- number of the MRP element
- number of the MRP segment
- forecast period for forecast requirements
- requirements type for planned independent requirements
- material number of the pegged material for the dependent requirement, and so on
Depending on the MRP element or the situation you find the following in the second column:
- the MRP element item or
(in the case of an individual customer segment also the delivery schedule number)
- the order or purchase order type
(if necessary with the fixed requisition indicator *)Regards,
Caetano
