Dear Srinivasan,
All the orders are used in different modules and basically they are the cost collectors.
Production order is used in PP module to schedule and collect the cost of goods issued and labor hrs.
Internal order is used by CO. If you dont have any PP process and still want to collect the cost of goods issue and labour hrs then internal order can be used. Like wise there are varoius areas it can be used by CO Consultants.
Maintainance order is used for planning assistance for maintenance tasks to be performed. Here also cost can collected on the order.
Like wise Quality order is used in QM module.
