Hello Experts,

could you please tell me what is the difference between TKSOLL & TKDIVP ?!

Actually i know that TKSOLL is the partial period for planned working time in Calendar Days & TKDIVP is the partial period for the flat rate period working time in Calendar Days

but actually i don't understand the meaning !!

(when i tried TKSOLL in a PCR for an employee hired at second half pf April 2013, TKSOLL gave me a value of 8 days, while TKDIVP gave me 30) .. i thought that GKSOLL will give me 30 (as it is the whole period) but this didn't happen !! so, i think i don't understand the difference clearly

thanks in advance,

best regards.

Hello Fadwa,

How are you?

For detailed information on each one of the types used in the partial period factors calculation, you run a simulation run for the employee, and check the payroll log by going to

  1. Processing of time data
  2. PARTT      PSP
  3. Processing.

This is where you can find the details on how each one of these types were calculated.

Hope that helps.

Thanks and regards,

Sally

Hello Sally,

I'm fine al hamdu l Allah, how are you

well, i do know this in the log .. but i can't find TKDIVP (i can see GKDIVI which is the number of caledar days of the month)while TKSOLL is increased by 1 every day (which eventually results in the umber of calendar days of the month as well !!) .. except that in one of the months (the employee was hired in April 23rd, so the number of days in TKSOLL is only 8 days - which is the number of days at which the employee is active)

i still don't get the idea & now I'm also confused with GKDIVI & GKDIVP !!
