What is Object in Controlling? and What is the difference between REal Object and Statistical Object
Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
In broad terms real cost object is where the expenses are incurred and statistical is for information and analytical purpose.
When Controlling module is activated, for all expense postings need a real cost object. We cannot assign more than one real cost object. Hence if a second cost object is assigned it is only statistical.
For example for an expenditure line item if both Cost Center and Internal Order are assigned one of them is a real cost object and the other is statistical.
Thanks
Murali.
