Difference Between External And Internal Activity

Hi,

Can anyone plz tell me why we use external activity if can attache material component/BOM to both internal and external activities.

For internal activity it is understandable that we use it for calculating the capacity planning and manpower/equipment cost calculation.

Is there any special reason for using external activity , we can simply use internal activity!!

Hi Rajiv,

External activity we use to procure material from outside company or for any labor coming for any specific work or for vendor work. This way it differentiate with internal activity.
