Difference between 101 movement type

Hi expert

i want to difference between movement type 101( STO &Sub&Production). i want to put separate quantity in column according to that.

101 Movement type for STO

It is not possible to introduce new movement type for GR against STO it will be 101 for Normal PO and STO.

You can differentiate these GR Docs based on the field Receipt indicator (MSEG-KZZUG). If It is "Blank" then it is Normal receipt and if it is "X" then it is Stock transport order Receipt.

You can add this field (MSEG-KZZUG) in report MB51 by configuring it under following path;

SPRO > Materials Management > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Reporting > Define Field Selection for Material Document List - Add field MSEG-KZZUG in selection as well as in output for program RM07DOCS. And then get the report in MB51.

101 Movement type for Subcontracting Attributes

Path SPRO -> Logistics general -> Tax on goods movement -> India -> Business transactions -> Subcontracting -> Subcontracting attributes, here you can check usage 0001 - Issues & 0002-Receipts

101 E Movement type for Production

This is a make to order scenario and system do not allow you to have the Sales Order stock into your Own stock.

If the customer order is cancelled, you have this option : 'Receive the stock from production into Sales Order stock and do a movement of this sales order stock to unrestricted stock  - Movement type 411 E'

Hi Nabil,

The GR with movement type 101 is posted agaisnt Production Order is with Document Type "WE", Trans/Ev type "WF" w/o Purchase order no.

The GR with movement type 101 against SubContracting PO is with Document type "WE", but with Trans/Ev type "WE", but te PO Line item will have the item categry as "L" or "3".

The GR with movement type 101 against STO PO is with Document type "WE", but with Trans/Ev type "WE" but te PO Line item will have the item categry as "U" or "7".

The PO reference can be found from MSEG-EBELN and EBELP.
