Default Values in Tcode ME2L

Hi Experts,

I having one scenerio from customer :-

He wants - "Plant value should get defaulted in Tcode ME2L"

Please help how to suggest him....

Dear Prashanth,

This can be achieved by maintaining the user parameter(SU01/SU3) at user  master level in parameter tab, maitain the tab with parameter field WRK-1000(you have to give your plant value)

"This will flow to all transactions wherever plant field is appearing, transaction default values will be preceded over this if they maintained"

Issue with screen variant is each and every time user have to select the same before executing the transaction.

Hi,

  Go to menu- system - user profile - own data . Go to parameter tab and maintain  the parameter id 'WRK' with value as your plant code. Save and check ME2L. The plant value will be defaulted there.

Give the plant , then from menu - GOTO- Variant - Set as variant . save with a name and Description.

then get variant - select the saved variant ( will be default)
