If i have open TO for materials & if i execute the cycle count will the materials be taken for cycle count

SAP will create inventory document, but does not allow you to activate it until your open TOs are closed.

HI,

The problem i have assigned the cycle counting indicator for 10 items in material master.The system is picking 3 materials only for PI.Each & every time it is picking only the same 3 materials. Why? Even though no open TO is there

what inventory dates from and to do you enter in LX26?

try a long range just for testing, try with a range of one year.

do you get then all 10 or still only 3.

Do all 10 materials have stock in your warhouse?

When i select one year as criteria it is saying several quants.When i click on stor bin it is showing many materials.Does this mean all these materials will be taken for CC

yes.

because in WM cycle counting you do not only have to count the CC materials in a bin, instead you have to count ALL materials that are stored with a CC material in the same bin.

no way out this is standard SAP behaviour for WM cycle counting.

you may need to not allow mixed storage

alternative you can use LICC Cycle counting by quant, but this is more or less comparable with MI01 - a pretty manual task.

hi ,

if you are going to do physical inventory in the warehouse, one of the prerequsite is to close all the open TO and TR.Also you should block the bins for goods movement in LS06 TRX.

you should close all TOs for those materials you want to do Physical Inventory
