Hi All,

I am building a infoset-query to read a multi-level BOM just like CS11 or CS12, so i would like to know which Function Module should i call in the program?

Hi,

you can use following Function Module for BOM.

CS_BOM_EXPLOSION_MAT or CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2

CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ

CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2

CS_BOM_EXPLOSION

Tables related To BOM

STKO BOM Header Details

STPO BOM Item Details

MAST BOM Group to Material

STAS BOM Item Selection

STPU BOM Sub Items (designators)

STZU BOM History Records

STPF BOM Explosion Structure

PLMZ Allocation of bill of material items to operations

May i know which function module reads a multi-level BOM, i tested each function module, but the function call gives an error.

Can you please let me know which fileds in the function module the following field refers to?

1. Material

2. Plant

3. Alternative BOM

4. BOM application

5. Valid from

6. Change Number

7. Revision Level

8. Required Quantity

2. Plant-BOM plant

3. Alternative BOM- product alternative bom 1 or 2

4. BOM application-PP01

5. Valid from - BOm validity

6. Change Number - for BOM if any

7. Revision Level - Not required

8. Required Quantity - not required
