Is there a way to cross-reference a plant's partnumber to a vendors?

HI,

There is a indirect link between the vendors part number and plant's part number by maintaining Vendor Part number in the inforecord through ME11.

Or indirectly you can pick any free text field say old material number and enter the vendor part number in this field also. but logically this is not right but this can be done.

you can maintain the vendors part number in info record.

As the info record is created for a material/vendor combination, you directly have a x-ref.

And it is possible to search with vendors material number for your material number with F4 in any material number field.
