create variant

Dear all

how to work while creating variant. i mean specially with variant attributes 

i can not able to enter ( fill data in )variable

pls. tell me detail procedure with screenshot if possible

i have to maitain range  01.01.2010 - 31.12. 9999

pls tell is it correct range ? how i can go forward

Hi Sachin,

Maintain the date range and in the variant either protect the field or hide the field so nobody can change it.

and you can see below when you apply this variant

I didnot get your reply.. what exactly you're trying to do ?

Are you not able to set Inspection Lot Creation Date in QA32 ? What's problem you're facing or what error you're getting ?

Also date range mentioned by you (01.01.2010 - 31.12. 9999) is too LONG... keep it short like for a week or two so you will see only relevant inspection lots that you want to process on and also QA32 report output will be displayed easily & fast.

Revert if any issue.

I just browsed through SAP online glossary for the word 'variant', and I started counting the types of variants there are.  I stopped counting after thirty.....

There are many 'variants' in SAP.  Perhaps you could elaborate on your question, with screenshots if possible.
