Hi All,
If I have a cost element, is there a way to know which all cost element groups it is mapped under? Is it also possible to know the changes made to a cost element group?
Thanks in advance.

i think, the only way to know the group is, by display of cost element group, it is also little bit difficult to find the relevant group, so, make some element groups with related cost elements, like wages accounts as wages groups, etc., to minimise time to search all groups. correct me if i am wrong,
regards,
Hi,
You could go to the SETLEAF table (via SE16N), select a class '0102' - Cost Elements, and examine 'from'/'to' fields. In the field 'Set Id' you will find the group. Please, keep in mind, that certain element could be a part of a range and not be entered separately (e.g. Cost element 60100 could be a part of range: from 60000 to 60900)
Regards,
Eli
You can check tables - SETLEAF and SETNODE to find where cost center is attached.
