May I know for cost component split, what is the purpose of OKYW and OKTZ.

Hi,

in OKYW you can activate the cost component split in CO area currency.

In order to save database ressources costing in legal valuation creates only a cost component split in company code currency. In order to create also a CCS in CO area currency and write it into the database table (KEPH) you have to activate this in t-code OKYW.

The most important usage of the CCS in CO area currency is the standard price update when material ledger is active. If you use currency type 10 and 30 then both willbe updated price price release: CurrType 10 will be updated with the value from CCS in company code currency and CurrType 30 will be updated with the price from CCS in CO area currency. If there would be no CCS in CO area currency in this scenario then the system would do a currency conversion from price in CurrType 10 to get price for CurrType 30.

Hi,

If your controlling area currency is not the same as the company code currency, cost component splits is always updated in company code currency. You will use OKYW settings to see the cost component split in controlling area currency too.

OKYW :

In general, when you are using different currency between company code and controlling area, then Configuration the 'Additional Cost Component Split' (OKYW) comes to picture (Product Costing)

OKTZ: Cost Component Structure in CO-PC: OKTZ

Specifies which costs are contained in the cost component split.

I have a cost estimate for the laptop Rs 39000. I want know different cosst of Rs 39000.

Total Rm cost19000, Total Labor cost 10000, Testing 7000, others 3000; thus OKTZ Specifies which costs are contained in the cost component split.

Company code 0001, currency is USD and co area currency is INR. So ccs update takes place only with Com Code Currency. You have to activate additional CC split (in t code okyw) by adding company code and relevant details so that you can have ccs updation by Co area currency also
