Correct Wrongly Created material code.

User has created a wrong material code .And also dispatched the material .Is there any alternative for replacing this matrial code.As so many transaction have already been done.

you have create the correct material, move the quantity from wrong material to correct material, close or delete any open PO of wrong material then block the old material on client level and if you are using archiving archive that material and start using the correct material.

Create a correct material code,transfer stock from wrong material code to correct one using 309 mvmt.

Link new material with other items & create BOM,create routing,maintain price,info record,do costing rerun.

Hello,

You can block this material as a one off or mark it for deletion and create the correct material code, but you cannot replce them in the transactions if thats what you are referring to OR you could create a new/ correct material code and transfer inventory to this material instead, if that is important at all to you
