Dear Gurus,

what is the difference between conversion and migration during implementation?

As per my knowledge both are same...

But data conversion is used when you are going to upload data from legacy system to SAP then Data conversion is used.

When you are moving data for enhancements means from one version to other ,then migration comes into picture.

Depends what context you use the words in, but broadly speaking conversion is the mapping of data from the legacy system to the SAP data load templates. Migration is the entire process of moving data from the legacy system to the SAP system.
