Also whenever u updated Chaper ID in J1id, it automatically updated in Control code filed in Material master.

Hi ,

Control code means it is HSN number for the material . While craeting the material master we can put this is Sales view . It is given by govt department . Base on control code the duty calculate . For examplae 8888.00 the duty is 8% . so if the CIF value is 100 then accessable value will be CIF*1.01 . Base on accesseble value ths duty calculate . How much percentage to calculate is given by goverment department .

I am migrating the materials from a legacy system for S/4 HANA Public cloud. I don't know which is the field in the material master that corresponds to HSN code on S/4 side. I am using the product migration template provided in S/4 migration cockpit. Which field should carry the HSN code in migration template?

Hi,

Control code is nothing but Chapter ID for Indian scenario.

You can maintain maintain the chapter ID for the Plant- Matl Combination, istead of J1ID entries

Particularly, use ful in TAXINN procedure.
