Consignment Settlement

Hi,

For doing consignment settlement we have to use MRKO. What are the necessary steps to be followed while dealing with this T.Code MRKO?

Please help me.

For doing consignment settlement.

you should have consignment PO ( item category K) with tax code

Info recore is must with consignment

when u received the good through movement type 101K no accounting do will generate. since it is not valuated materila ( it owns by the vendor)

Transfer the consignment materila to own (movemetn type 411K ) or Goods issue to consumption( movement type 201K) ... now accounting document will generate.

settele the the account through MRKO transcation.

If you find error that messeage determination not set.... go the SPRP setting ..logistic Invoce verification > Messeage determination >>> maintain condition >>> create condition.... create for KONS

1. Maintain Info Record (consignment)- ME11

2. Create PO with tem category -K & maintain the tax code in PO with valid condition record if using Taxinn

3. Make consignmnt GRN with 101 then material will be in vendors stock

4. Transfer material to own stock -411K

5. Once material is transffered to own stock settle through MRKO.

before doing MRKO, you have to maintain cond records

t.code MRM1 out put type is KONS.

hi,

Consignment settlement means the settlement in which you don't pay to vendor just after GR...but you pay to vendor you consume/withdraw the material from the given stock....As soon as you withdraw the material, the liability towards the vendor is generated as for the same you pay to vendor as per the terms n conditions decided in the inforecord/VMR ...This settlement is done through the MRKO...

Note: There is no IR made here, jus because you only pay after the withdrawl of material...

Process:

1. Make the master data's like MMR and VMR...

2. Make the inforecord..

3. Then make the PO for the material and vendor from ME21N

4. Then make the GR ie. the material which you get from the vendor but stills belong to the vendor till you withdraw from it...this is to be done from MIGO

5. Make the GI for whatever use you want and this generates the liability towards vendor...

6. For the above liability you make the payment via settlement through MRKO...

Hi,

A MMR is necessary for a consignment procurement process.--- MM01

A VMR is too needed for this business process.-- XK01

An info record from where the price is taken at the time of GI/transfer to own stock should be created--ME11

PO with item category K is to be created.-- ME21N

Post the GR to any type of stock(Urs/QI/Blocked)---MIGO

POst the GI--- MB1A or MB1B

Settle consignment liabilities for the vendor--MRKO
