Hi everyone,
our controllers have noticed that any commitment posted on investment WBS elements does not get cleared automatically when the underlying asset gets deactivated. Also, there is no warning that open orders are still existing when the asset gets closed. On FI side, everything's clear, but the CO part with open commitments remains inconsistent.
I have two questions: does anyone know of any possibility of at least showing a warning if there are open orders present when deactivating an asset?
And if not: is there a standard process of repairing the outstanding commitment using a cyclic report?
(when listening to me writing this, I fear that SAP deems itself correct - the commitment does not exist on the asset, but on the invest WBS, and this doesn't get closed...)
