Hello all,
a customer of my from a CO-Team asked me is there a option in the S4 HANA Cloud (MTE) to close a period for planning as in onPrem.
The question is: here we can close a period for planning, so if a User try to upload Plan-Data for a wronf period, the system noes not allows it (or at least verify and alert)?

Hello,
Cuurently planning periods in different planning categories are not allowed to be locked, in order to avoid later adjustments. As of now only for certain business transactions you can set the period using 'Manage Posting Periods' app, refer to the KBA 2542433 additionally.
Best Regards,
Vijayendra
