Classification characteristics dependency EQ & FL Location Reference table

Hi,

Please let me know how to work with below issue.

I have created a CHAR (for class type 002), I want the characteristics to derive the value from "Location" in FL and EQ: ILOA-STORT. I have entered ILOA-STORT in the Reference to table field for the CHAR.

FYI- in the Technical information (F1) in object master, the screen field is ITOB-STORT, but in the dictionary it's ILOA-STORT. I have tested both in Reference to table field in CHAR, no success.

But it will not work when assigning class to equipment master. the ILOA-STORT value will not populate in characteristic assigned to class.

Why?

let me know if similar threads exists, since i didn't find any.
