Check Masterial Master Data Code?

Hello everyone, I have a question that need a helping.

I try to creating a new material master data in mm01, it's 10008 with system's propose and I haven't saved. While creating, my SAP system has been disconnecting. I tried with mm01 but system proposed a new code (10009). I tried with mm02 to check 10008 but not exist and MARA Table is similar that.

How to checking old material (10008) when lost connect with system?

You have correctly pointed to the note 1646025 explaining the situation. MM01 draws an internal number right at the start of the transaction. If the material is not save the number is gone.

However that has nothing to do with number buffering! See SAP Help on SAP Number Range Buffer (BC-CST-NU)
