Characteristics Sample Data Migration Template

Hello Gurus,

I am trying to load Characteristics into S/4 HANA Cloud through Migration Template in Migration Cockpit.

The Characteristics are loaded but the values are not reflecting , I feel I am not putting the Data correctly in the Template and There are no Sample Data Templates provided by SAP for Characteristics.

I have thoroughly checked online for some help but in vain.

I request the Data Migration Experts to share a Sample Dummy Data File for Characteristics to help me with this. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

we are currently working on the updates of the sample data update for 1911 release and there will be new sample data files fpr Characteristics and Classes been available soon.

Short update Nov 13, 2019:

Templates are now updated to release 1911 and new sample are available for the objects Product, Class, Characteristic and Object classification

Hi Frank I am also experiencing similar problem the value are going in SAP and I can see them in CAWN but not displaying in CT04. Further if i add additional value then some time it overwrite the CAWN value and sometime append the record. So not very clear what's happening.

Where you are checking the loaded characteristics? Do you see these as imported successfully in "Data Migration Status" app?

For migration, you may download and complete the migration templates.

In the system access the app "Migrate Your Data" or "Manage your solution" -> Migrate your data.

Create a new migration project and you can then download all required templates per migration object.
