characteristic values classification tables/extraction process

Hello,

I have a requirement. I need to extract (Characteristic Values Configuration) data from SAP ECC using SAP Data Services 4.2. Could you please help me with the following info:

1- Is there a standard extractor which I can use as a source and extract data into SAP Dataservices 4.2?

2- Are there tables that hold the data for the characteristics values? if so what are those tables. I could use these tables as a source and extract data into SAP BODS.

3- How is data stored into the characteristics values in sap? I read somewhere that its stored in classes and objects....

Goto Sales Order (tcode: va03), click on the line item and the following screen comes up, goto Extras -> click Configuration.

I would recommend you to check the classification table AUSP and make sure you filter the relevant Class Type
