Changing Tax Code Description

How can tax code (input tax) description can be changed?

I did not find any thread answering this.

Hi,

   Go to FTXP - enter the tax code and press enter. Now, go to Menu - Go to - Properties. Here, you can change the description.

    The thread you mentioned is SAP B1!!!!!! and the MM forum is for A1

I agree.. But do you not really think that the reply from Former Member does make sense for MM forum ?

I have just given the thread because I found this thread in top by searching in Google with the key term "change description of a tax code in sap"

   NO...Not at all. Because you can very well change the tax code description in A1.

I think the solution has been given by Mohamed is also valid for A1(R/3).

I have searched the forum wel, & with the Prasoons reply I came to know the way to do it.

Also one of that thread is of SAP B1 of Mohabad, does it the way to do the task, locking in all !!!!

Yes , there was not a clear answer on the SCN, hence I asked it.

I have searched the forum with "change description of a tax code in sap" but no body had answered otherwise why I will ask such thing if I am getting answered.

Why to adopt the funny/complicated way to change the tax code description when there is a simple straight forward way to change as described by the Mr. AKPT Prasoon.

I don't know what you are seeing in mohamed's reply. Let me show you the reply.

Then select "GoTo ->Properties" from the top menu. It will open up the description field for modification. Make the change and save it.
