Billing Document Workflow

Dear Experts,

I have set-up workflow for Sales Quotation, Sales Order. 

However, I just realized that once Sales order release, billing block function in sales order doesn't work anymore.

Business requirement is to have workflow for Billing document as well. 

Is there a way to make it?

Hello,

You can configure a workflow for preliminary billing document - NOT for customer billing document.

After creating the customer project, the sales order is generated automatically when setting up the billing plan (in App Plan Customer Projects, Billing tab). The sales order is a 1:1 copy of the project, meaning that for each project there is one sales order and for each billing item there is a corresponding sales order item.

The opposite behavior - that is, creating the sales order first and generating a customer project out of it - is not supported.
