Dear All

In MSC2N / MSC3N, i am not able to see the batch status. Usually we can see the unrestricted use / restricted use radio button here.

Did i miss any customizing setting?

Hi Tom,

How are you checking that? are you checking the Field Selection String? you will need to go to the individual field selection group and cross check, ie,keep the cursor in a dot then click the details, like wise move to the 36th dot and check the details , you will find the Field Name DFBATCH-FZUST - Indicator: Batch in unrestricted-use sto, this will be in hide mode in the system which you have an issue... change it to optional entry.

Hi,

Go to "OMCU" and activate indicator "Batch status management" for the Plant and Save.

Now go to MSC2N and check in "Basic Data" view, you will get the option.

I checked OMCT and Status management was not active. Hence i changed it. However when i go in change mode to batch i still cannot see the batch status.

Our batch level is at Client so in the development system we did not have to maintain status management at plant level.

Hi Tom,

What you see in your development system is the standard settings, check if the settings are similar in the other system.

The issue you are experiencing is due to change in the field selection group as explained earlier.. you may check it in your development server too, if required, by changing the standard for testing..

Hi,

Check the customizing

SPRO - Logistics General- batch management - Batch Master- Field Selection batch Master - Edit Field Selection Control

select transaction MSC2 and Field selection Group 36 and make it to optional entry and save.

I suppose now its in hide mode..
