Barcode solution

Does anyone know if there is a barcode solution or add-on for Business One? I work for a small company that would like to incorporate barcode reading in shipping, receiving, and Point of Sale.

There are some high-end solutions including Radio Beacon. Sorry that I haven't heard of any yet for smaller companies. We have done our own work for some customers, but we don't have a general solution.

Hi Hal,

We (Serac Applications BV) have developed a low cost flexible solution for scanning. This solution is can be used for shipping and receiving. We have also developed a retail-solution. Both are fully coupled with SAP Business One.

Dont know to what extent you are using the scanning. But a couple of things that might be of interest that could be easy to use. Have not tested all of them.

- ALD

- Using Barcode Fonts

- Using a dedicated printer fonts or hardware barcode solution

- Using scanners that you can program codes into e.g. shift + f2 + "barcode number" + enter
