BAPI for tcode MI09 and MI10 (Enter Inventory Count/Differences without Reference)

Hi,

Does anyone know the BAPI that can be used for MI09 and MI10?

I'm posting without reference.

Most suggested to use BAPI_MATPHYSINV_COUNT. But MI09 and MI10 have the Plant field mandatory.

Does anyone have any idea?

In table IKPF ( Header: Physical Inventory Document ), plant is not key field. The key fields are physical inventory document number and fiscal year.

So, BAPI_MATPHYSINV_COUNT is the correct BAPI for tcode MI09 because you can input physical inventory document number and fiscal year in this BAPI.

Hi,

I believe you are doing physical inventory before actually doing the count through MI09/MI10. Try this BAPI : BAPI_MATPHYSINV_CREATE_MULT, you can provide plant in here.

But I'm not creating any physical document prior. Hence, now trying to post the count/differences without any physical document via MI09/MI10.

But ideally you should be doing count against physical inventory document.Could you show some actual test case which you have followed until now to map this process?
