Pls any one tell me.

What is BAPI ? How it is useful to HR functional & Technical consultant and what is the role of BAPI in SAP R/3.

BAPI stands for Business Application Programming Interface, as the name suggests it's used for Interface purpose. You can use it as a method of a data migration activities. So, it's useful for both Functional & Technical Guys. In short, we can use BAPI for synchronous comm. and asynchronous comm.. In

asynchronous comm. we use ALE which internally uses BAPI. Apart from this, while transtering your SAP data to Non-SAP system like VB, we are using it as a interface.
