What is the difference between backflush  throug control key " Automatic goods receipt" and OPK4 "Goods Movement indicator / All component"?

Which one has higher priority?

Dear Vivek,

There is no relation between backflush and Automatic Goods Receipt setting in the control key.

Backflush is Auto GI which will post the 261 movement automatically at the time of production

confirmation, if this is set for the components either in the material master level/routing/order level then

during production confirmation in CO11N/CO15 the system will automatically post the GI, instead of

manually posting it through MB1A/MIGO.

In case if the check box for "All components" is set means,then the system displays (all backflush

indicator set materials and the materials without the backflush indicator) all the components in the

goods movement screen.(Remember that only if click on the goods movement screen during

confirmation and then you save the data, only at this point the system will post the GI for all the

components and in case if you do not click on the goods movement screen and if you save the

confirmation,then the Auto GI will happen only for the backflush indicator set materials.)

Auto GR can be set either through the control key ,assigning to the last operation or else through the

production scheduling profile.

Comparing ?? See OPK4/All component indicator

if set>>will show all component in GM overview.if not set>> will show only back flushed materials

You would be able to see Auto GR materials only when your "control key" or "production Scheduling Profile" set for Auto GR.

So if you are comparing this way than Auto GR tick has priority.

Hi,

Back flush and automatic goods receipt are both different functionality..

Back flush is for components and used to do automatic goods issue (GI)...

Automatic goods receipt is for header material (GR) and for doing it automatically..

Back flush: you can make settings in the:

• Material master record (MRP 2 view)
• Work center (Basic Data screen)
• Routing (General Data screen for component assignment)

Priority works as follows..

Automatic goods receipt : It can be set at two places..

1.Control key

2.Production scheduling profile
