There are three places you can do Backflush one is at material level other at resource and another at recipe , but in my system backflush indicator not available at resource and recipe also it is non editable field , what makes this , what i need to check please through some light
I have a prod order in which 3 components are not marked to backflush. I checked in the material master on the MRP2 tab, and they are all marked to always backflush. I tried to create the order again, to make sure that they weren't manually unchecked in the order, and they still did not default to back flush. As a result, these components do not show up on the traveler.
Is there something overriding the setting in the material master?
According to the work center, check in customizing the filed selection for the work centers screens. For each work center category you can influence the appereance of the different fileds on each screen.
In order to have the backflushing indicator in the routing, you have first to assign the respective component to one of the operations of that routing.
Go to MM02 MRP 2 view and check where components should always backflush,If you maintain 'Always backflush'Indicator in material master of components it become by default comes in resource and recipe.
Also check the setting of Back flush in OPFA May be you marked it as display.
Just check in Mtl Master if the component as been flagged as Bulk in MRP-2 view. Remove the same & then check in recipe. For resource, can you let us know which resource category it belongs to?
