Approval document based on another document

Hi,

I have a scenario on the purchase request approval.

Purchase Request has a UDF that connects to the Sales Quotation objects and while creating a requisition user will select this value also.

Now the requirement is that the first approval of the document should go to the creator/sales employee of that quotation selected in the requisition.

Is there any way to work out this scenario ?
