Hi
We are about to implement SAP Business One and are working with our web developer to update our customer ordering portal. Our local SAP agent is advising we should be using a FTP connection, whereas our web developer is saying that we should be using an API connector. Which is the best solution please?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Jason,
Sounds a little bit like a misunderstanding. FTP is a protocol for transferring files over the internet. An API connector is a piece of software that connects two softwares together. I.e. SAP Business One and your web based Customer Ordering Portal (makes for a fun acronym).
What is the actual question? How to transfer order data from COP to SBO, and/or item, customer and pricing data from SBO to COP, or something else?
Regards,
Johan
