Adobe Reader cannot open in Protected Mode

Does anyone know what kind of problem with a system configuration can cause this error to be displayed?

Adobe Reader cannot open in Protected Mode due a problem with your system configuration. Would you like to open Adobe Reader with Protected Mode disabled?

This happens whenever we try to export as a PDF with this install of SBO 8.81 PL09.

Thanks for the link. Adobe Reader did need to be updated to version >10.1 for Windows Terminal Server support but the dialog is still displayed after the update. We also updated the antivirus without any luck for getting rid of the dialog.

Try this:

Save the next command in a plain text file named fixed.reg

-

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\10.0\AdobeViewer <- Put this line between [ ]

"EULAAcceptedForBrowser"=dword:00000001

-

Now, double clic over the file to add in the windows registry.

Job done. Open Acrobat Reader.

This key didn't work but thanks for the suggestion.

The following key will disable Adobe Reader's Protected Mode which is likely going to be our workaround while we continue to look for a fix:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\FeatureLockdown]
"bPRotectedMode"=dword:00000000

Thanks for the help so far.
