SE16H outer join returns empty output

When using SE16N (with MARA and MARC, I have the secondary table mentioned, but the output for plant is blank). If I enter the actualy plant code, then it repeats same material records n number of times (matching to the record count of MARA). Thoughts?

All that I am trying to see is for the materials entered in the selection screen (from MARA), fetch the corresponding MARC records with key fields (like Purch grp, batch mgt. etc.)

hey vvenkat70gbg

i took me a while but i understood what your are doing but i think i got it 🙂

I managed to see the plants flagging output with plant by removing the fields from access definition of secondary table as per below, let me know if i understand correctly?cheers!A

PS.:keep in mind that you are fetching the data from MARC which is in some cases gigantic and, if you plan to leave material field empty, it will end up in no memory dump 😞

Thanks amo ntella! But I am back to the original issue, when I remove werks from the secondary table.

Any thoughts?

I also noticed something else - I don't see the "Grouping" and "No. of rows" in my screen, although they are not made invisible in the table control.

Hi amo ntella

I can't make it to work - this worked like a charm for me when I was using ECC, but with S4 and with the same way I was working in ECC, it doesn't work. Wonder what has changed.

If I just setup the MARA<>MARC link, without a secondary table, I get the above error. ("the parser produced the error..."). If I enter a secondary table and choose WERKS, then I don't see the value of plant or other plant specific fields.

And interestingly, I also don't see the "grouping" checkbox in the "Outer join definition" popup window.
