runtime error SPOOL_INTERNAL_ERROR

Hello Experts,

Please one of my functional consultants is having issues on Batch job cancellation any time he initiate a background JOB it will cancelled at point with this error message "runtime error SPOOL_INTERNAL_ERROR" attach is the screen shot of the error on ST22 i try to attach it as Note Pad file but it was not accepting it. Kindly assist me with the solution. Thanks

Hi Ezeh.

1. Check the number of spool request in transaction code SPAD, normally if the spool requests are more, you have to delete the old spool requests and check the consistency.

2. Refer the SAP Wiki link about the spool error

please refer to SAP Note 48284 in order to resolve the issue by changing the spool number range.
