message server not running

System:

MAXDB

SAP ECC 6.0

Windows Server 2008

Problem:

The new ADS Server (Windows) was created with a new Domain.
Then I updated the SAP Server also with the new domain.

Max DB is running.

Since the Domain Change the SAP Konsole (MMC) is running but the DISP+ WORK.exe process is stopped.

We solved one prev. problem by adding some XUSER information.

We now receive from the Message Server (Dev. Trace) a new problem :.

*** ERROR => MsSClientHandle: no server provides service ENQ (4), requested from cawsap1_D10_00 [msxxserv.c 4731]

Thanks for your support!

Hi Dan,

I think issue is with SSO and snc parameters. can you please try to with below parameter then try to start the system:-

Set parameter snc/enable = 0

or # out all snc parameters in instance profile then try.

Hi Dan,

About "ERROR => MsSClientHandle: no server provides service ENQ (4)". This error comes only because all the WPs died, there is no ENQ WP available to process the enqueue requests.

If you attach dev_disp and dev_w0, they can help finding the reason why the system is not coming up.

Cris

hi Critiano,

my sys admin has sent me the following lines from the dev_w0 file:

N *** ERROR => SncPAcquireCred()==SNCERR_GSSAPI [sncxxall.c 1439]

N GSS-API(maj): No credentials were supplied

N GSS-API(min): No credentials found for this name (not logged on) (USER=SAPServiceD10)

N Could't acquire ACCEPTING credentials for

any idea how to create the required credentials?

thanks and regards,

Hi Hariom,

thank you! it worked. there are 2 additional questions from my colleague. please check below:

1. Can you clarify how to fix N GSS-API(min): No credentials found for this name (not logged on) (USER=SAPServiceD10). How to set or provide the credentials. I think they need to be stored somewhere to get snc working.

2. we have changed the domain. can this entry in the profile cause the issue?

snc/identity/as = p:CN=D10, OU=intern, O=consultants, C=DE

thank you in advance!

best regards,

dan
