Hi @Yogananda @MarkyMark Why does free trial has so many restriction?
The SAP BDC free trial has significant limitations that make hands-on learning extremely difficult. For example:
You cannot create data products that can be shared with Databricks
Space creation authorization is restricted
BW PCE is not available
These restrictions prevent users from practicing many of the new and important features of the platform.
This raises a key concern:
How are individuals supposed to learn and build real skills if they do not have access to a system through their employer?
If full capabilities cannot be offered for free, there should at least be a simple, self-service paid option for individuals. Currently, even paid access often requires:
Being an SAP Partner, or
Having an employer purchase the system first
As a result, individuals who want to invest in learning on their own are effectively blocked.
With so many restrictions, the trial system defeats its own purpose. A trial should enable users to explore and practice most of the platform’s key and newly released features , not limit them to a subset that provides only theoretical exposure.

Hi @LGarcia321
You can access the Basic Trial system to practice. There is also a very helpful script to follow that will guide you so you can try out some very cool things.
