What This Course Is About

This course teaches you how to use the SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint. It connects your PowerPoint slides directly to your SAP Analytics Cloud stories. You can embed live charts, refresh data with one click, and deliver presentations that always show the latest information.

Who Should Take This Course

This course is designed for business users who create and deliver data-driven presentations. If you prepare executive reviews, board decks, or sales reports, this course is for you. You do not need any development skills.

What You Learn

The course is organized into five units. Here is a quick overview of each one.

Unit 1 – Getting Started You learn what SAP Analytics Cloud stories and widgets are. You also see how the add-in compares to other SAP tools for Microsoft Office, so you can choose the right one for each situation.

Unit 2 – Setting Up the Add-in You check the prerequisites, install the add-in from the Microsoft Marketplace, and connect it to your SAP Analytics Cloud tenant.

Unit 3 – Building Presentations with Widgets You add widgets from existing SAP Analytics Cloud stories to your slides. You then edit them directly in PowerPoint: apply filters, drill into data, and sort or rank values — without leaving your presentation.

Unit 4 – Keeping Presentations Current and AI-Enhanced You refresh widget data before a meeting so your slides always show current figures. You also use the AI-assisted summary feature to generate a text summary of any widget with a single click, then edit it directly on your slide if needed.

Unit 5 – Distributing and Governing Presentations You learn how to share presentations that stay connected to SAP Analytics Cloud data with others.
